Victoria Kovalenchikova

Victoria Kovalenchikova is a Belarusian artist born in 1978 in Mogilev, Belarus. She currently lives and works in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, since 2008. Kovalenchikova received her education at the Belarusian State Academy of Arts in Minsk, Belarus, from 1996 to 2002, and at the I. Akhremchik National Art College in Minsk from 1990 to 1996.

With over 100 solo shows and group exhibitions to her name, Kovalenchikova's work has been showcased in various countries, including Belarus, the USA, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Singapore, Turkey, China, and the Netherlands. She has been a member of the Belarusian Artists' Union since 2003.

Kovalenchikova has received recognition for her artistic endeavors, including an award from the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus for Enriching and Promoting Arts and Culture in 2011. She also received the First Prize and Gold Medal of Honor "LORENZO Il MAGNIFICO" at the VIII International Florence Biennale of Contemporary Art in 2011 for her paintings "NO EXIT" and "Reflected Reality."

Her artwork can be found in various art collections, including the art collection of Philips in High Tech Campus, Eindhoven, the Netherlands; RABO Bank, Amsterdam, the Netherlands; the Museum of Russian Art, Jersey City, USA; the Museum of Belarusian State Academy of Arts, Minsk; Contemporary Fine Art Museum, Minsk, Belarus; the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus, Minsk; and several private collections worldwide.

Kovalenchikova has had numerous solo exhibitions, including shows at Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City, USA, in 2019; Kasteel Wittenburg in Wassenaar, the Netherlands, in 2017; Art Porters Gallery in Singapore in 2017; and the Museum of Russian Art in Jersey City, USA, in 2011, among others.

Her artistic journey continues to inspire and engage audiences with her vibrant and expressive paintings that explore themes of reality, emotions, and reflections. Victoria Kovalenchikova's work has found a place in prestigious collections and has made an impact in the international art scene.
